School/program provides high quality STEM courses and curriculum aligned to recognized standards and organized into interdisciplinary frameworks.

The curriculum at Somerset Gables is aligned to the Florida State Standards (LAFS/ MAFS) and the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSS). These standards are made to meet the contemporary needs of the 21-century learner. The objectives allow our students to make connections and utilize STEM concepts in their learning. Aside from learning standards, our institutional strength is that students are provided with an additional 75 minutes of science instruction weekly. That allows them to have and additional fifteen minutes daily to interact with science material, a vital factor in STEM initiatives.
